It has been understood from the request of the Jerusalem–Jaffa carriage road’s tax farmer Shukrî Effendi al-Nashâshîbî that the center of the carriage road in Jaffa needs some repairs to extend the officer’s place. Accordingly, the council has decided to inform the presidency of Jaffa municipality of the directions to examine the needed repairs and improvements for the mentioned place with the estimation of needed expenses and to propose them for Dutch auction. And in agreement with the applicants, the directions will be clarified for this part?. In order for this to be known, this decision was taken on the 15th of Huzayrân (1)315 (27th of June 1899).
