The decree sent from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, dated 10 July 1894, numbered 17, stated that the farmers and landowners in every village must produce potato according to the needs of the people and this issue was also communicated to muhtars by our council. In the verdict given by the Sanjak Administrative Council on 2 August 1894, it was requested to explain methods of agriculture and to alternately control agriculture during the production season by the municipal council member. As the agricultural season is about to come, municipal council members should be sent in order to conduct controls. However, since there is no legal article concerning the payment of the daily allowance to be given to these council members from the municipal fund, it is appropriate to relegate the matter to the Sanjak Administrative Council in order to consider necessary actions.
