We announce after the end of tax farming period for the taxes of slaughter and [those of] animals for Jerusalem (al-Quds al-Sharîf), that both are proposed once again for public bid starting at the first of Mârt (1)312. And in agreement with the bidders, they have been decided in favor of the applicant for an amount of forty seven thousand and one hundred piasters. Accordingly, it was concluded that these pubic bids should be hung up for eleven days starting at the date below. So whoever wants to offer higher bid, should contact the municipal council. In order for this to be known, these directions were published on the 7th of Mârt (1)312 (19th of March 1896).
