Scope and content

Upon the inspectors’ letter dated 9 April 1917
Mahmud Uvıza (?) / Muhammed Ceye / Yusuf Karain / İshak İbrahim
From among the above-mentioned sergeants, Yusuf Al Karain could not carry out his duty for three days as he had applied to the Recruiting Office for examination. And it has been understood that the other sergeant, İshak İbrahim, could not carry out his duty as he had undergone a treatment due to typhoid. For these reasons, the said sergeants would, of course, be excused, and nothing would further be said. On the other hand, Mahmud Uvıza and Muhammed Ceye do not perform their duty at all. Thus, it has been decided that Mahmud Uvıza’s record be expunged as of 3 April 1917, and Muhammed Ceye’s as of 31 March 1917. The 17th of Nîsân (1)333 (17th of April 1917).
