The council has decided to collect fees from cart owners to pay for water sprinkling, for a period of six months starting from the beginning of Huzayrân (1)313. Accordingly, it has been decided to take a sum of three tenths a day for each working carriage. In order to make an inventory for carriages that work on daily basis, one of the council's commissioners, Ya’qûb al-Hindî al-Maslamânî has been appointed to collect the money according to the register presented by the commissioner, the money should be sent to the municipality's treasury. In order to obtain approval the decision was taken on the 28th of Mâyîs (1)313 (9th of June 1897).
