It has been decided on the council level to rent the fourth and the fifth stores of the ten stores belonging to the municipality and located beneath the municipal hotel; the residence of khâwaja Vest the German, to the tenant khâwajah Shimû’îl Barûza the Ashkenazi, for a period of one year starting on the first of Muharram (1)317 until Dhî al-Hijjah (1)317 for the amount of twenty five golden French Liras to be paid in advance. In order for this to be approved, this decision was taken on the 10th of Huzayrân (1)315 (22nd of June 1899).
