It has been understood from the report dated on the 30th of Tishrîn Thânî (1)321, presented by the municipality’s engineer, Nasrî Effendi that 19 lanterns need to be added to the lanterns installed outside the city, since some areas don’t have any lanterns at all. Because owners of shops complained about lack of lanterns and pledged to pay their share of the cleaning and lighting allocations, the place has been inspected and it has been revealed that hanging the mentioned lanterns is necessary. This issue has no financial allocations this year, so hanging the aforementioned lanterns has been delayed until the following year, except four which will be installed in the Yemeni quarter, next to the Rabbi Lîb house, because there are no lanterns in this area. In order to install the four lanterns and pay the money for their lighting starting from the day of their installation, this decision has been taken on the 15th of Kânûn Awwal (1)321 (28th of December 1905).
