By reviewing the report dated on the 30th of Kânûn Awwal (1)325, presented by the veterinarian inspector, it has been understood that the horse which belongs to Amîn al Qibtî is ill and cannot be treated, and even if it lives, it cannot be used. According to article 62 of the municipal law, such an animal cannot be used, so the mentioned horse should be put down. Since the owner, Amîn, is poor and does not have necessary means, the council has decided to pay two French liras from the council’s treasury for the horse; and a quarter of a lira for the municipal inspector in return for hay and barely to feed the horse after stopping it from work. In order to obtain approval, this decision was taken on the 9th of Kânûn Thânî (1)325 (22nd of January 1910).
