Scope and content

Upon the marginal note given on 13 December 1905 by the General Staff regarding the expenditure of 340.5 piasters, which is the cost of thirty-seven canons to be shot in the Month Ramadan
It has been understood from the records that the amount of canons to be shot in this Month Ramadan outnumbers the amount of canons shot in last year’s Month Ramadan and that 63 piasters were spent last year from the municipal fund only for seven canons shot for demonstration. The reason underlying the request of thirty canons apart from these seven canons is known, however, there is no source in the municipal budget to cover them. Hence, it is appropriate to relegate the matter to the Sanjak Administrative Council for explaining the method of payment of 266 piasters, which is just the cost of thirty canons. The 6th of Kânûn Awwal (1)321 (19th of December 1905).
