It has been decided on the council level to rent the hotel inside of Jaffa Gate to the tenant Yûsuf al-Krîmâtî the Lebanese for a period of two years starting at the first of Muharram (1)317 for an amount of thirty first and a third French Liras to be paid in three fees; that means a fee for each one month and a half starting at Tammûz (1)315; namely, a fee due by the 15th of August (1)315, a fee due by the end of Aylûl (1)315 and a fee due by the 15th of Tishrîn Thânî. And in order for this to be approved, this decision was organized and made on the 23rd of Huzayrân (1)315 (5th of July 1899).
