They were informed that Yousef Amer (Ιούσεφ Άμερ) bribed some people, in order to make a collective petition (mazpata) asking for him to be ordained priest. But they claim that most Christians are unaware of the situation and that Yousef is unworthy, that the village has no need for more priests because they have enough. And if they need one, they will gladly indicate the worthy priests, Tzirges Houri Isaac (Τζήργες Χούρι Ισαάκ) and Ilias Houri Oti (Ηλιάς Χούρι ΄Οτι).
