The municipal society has decided to collect cleaning and lighting fees from shops and houses located inside the wall starting from the first of Rajab (1)333. For this purpose, the council has decided to appoint Shaykh Ahmad Effendi Abû al-Fadil to become a keeper of a book that includes the names of owners of houses inside the wall and register the legal fee for each place. Hâj Alî Effendi and Amîn Rashîd Effendi will organize another notebook with the names of all shop owners inside the wall and register the legal fee for each shop alone and deposit them with the council according to the followed procedures. Therefore, this decision was issued on the 8th of Nîsân, (1)333 (8th of April 1917).
