The contractors who deliver water to the public garden have stopped doing so. Therefore it is necessary to find new ones.
Mustafa Kharufe et ‘Ali Husayn et Mustafa ‘Abd Al Qadr from Bayt Iksa were brought in and an agreement was obtained that they will provide 100 loads of the big waterskins (qirab) for the price of eighty piasters paid in installments and that …. each camel should carry two waterskins. The mentioned price is less than the price that had been decided for the service of the former contractors, (it is) 10 piasters less. It has been decided that 50 loads should be provided by the registered (contractors) on a daily basis starting from the 26th of Tammûz (1)310. They should be paid ten French liras in advance and the rest should be paid in installments. In order to publish this, this decision was taken on the 1st of Agustos (1)310 (13th of August 1894).
