The council has verified that clerks in the Census Department cannot deliver the ledgers needed for the elections of the Chamber of Deputies in the allocated time, so it is necessary to hire more help. Accordingly, the council has decided to appoint the respectable Ishâq Effendi, the senior clerk of the Census Department, for a sum of 200 piasters according to the official currency from the municipality’s treasury. In order to pay the mentioned sum from the municipality’s treasury and to register it in the regulatory expenditures, this decision was taken on the 20th of Agustos (1)324 (2nd of August 1908).
