On the correspondence, dated 28 March 1899, by the Greek Patriarch regarding the room in the Tûr mountain
Up to now, the municipal council have not intervened in the buildings constructed in villages. Nevertheless, it was stated in the letter sent by the Office of Main Register of Revenues on 18 May 1891 that a license be given to these buildings by the municipal offices on the condition that the certificates to be given by the land owners for the buildings to be constructed in kazas, villages, and other places besides these be approved by the offices of main register of revenues and title deed. This matter was also mentioned in the letter, dated 23 May 1898 and numbered 66, sent from the Office of Main Register of Revenues with reference to this letter and the construction of the said room was requested to be stopped. In accordance with the 94. article of the regulation mentioned in this letter, since there is no obstacle against the intervention by the municipality into the village buildings, it is appropriate to relegate the matter to the Sanjak Administrative Council in order to take necessary action in respect thereof.
