Contrary to the privileges that Greek community profited since old times, permissions given to Armenian community for Merkad-i Isa Church and the location called Cebel-i Zeyd which was allocated for the ceremonies of communities of Greek, Armenian and Catholic, was seized by Armenians in this regard attracting attention of Babıali and Damascus Governor Hulusi Paşa and translation of confidential instructions for its detailed explanation.
