It has become clear upon the inspection [realized] by the [municipal] engineer that the repair of the house located at Jaffa Gate and belonging to the council needs the amount of fifteen piasters to be paid in installments. And for the repair of the hospital six hundred and sixty nine piasters to be paid in installments. Accordingly, it has been decided by the council to do the [above-] mentioned restorations with the knowledge of one of us, the respectable al-Hâj Husayn and the [municipal] engineer 'Ibrahîm Effendi under the condition that they do not exceed the [above] mentioned amounts of money. In order for this arrangement to take effect and to pay all necessary on the account from the treasury of the municipality in Jerusalem, this decision was taken on the 26th of Tishrîn Thânî (1)310.
