It has been decided by the council to rent the two stores located in Jaffa Gate under the home belonging to the municipal council to the old tenants, Yishû'â Hâynsih, the jeweler and Mrs. 'Afrîdah Abshtîn, for a period of one year starting in Muharram (1)313 until the end of Dhî al-Hijjah (1)313 for an amount of thirty four French Liras and a half with an increase of two Liras and a half of last year's rent. Thus, the rent is seventeen Liras and a quarter for each store. All amounts are to be paid up front. In order for this to be approved, this decision was taken on the 9th of Mâyis (1)311 (21st of May 1895).
