Scope and content
It is urgent to hang a street lamp near the wall of the western Lion’s Gate (Bâb al-Asbât al-Gharbî) in order to lighten the road leading to Bâb Hitta, the road leading to the gate of the Noble Sanctuary (al-Haram al-Sharîf) and the road leading to Mary’s Bathhouse. Accordingly, it has been decided to install the mentioned street lamp, in addition to the one hundred and eighty lamps already installed, starting on the 19th of Mârt (1)315. Therefore, this decision was taken on the 19th of Mârt (1)315 (31st of March 1899).
