Nâjî ‘Abdul-Qâdir al-Khalîlî, the tax farmer of brokerage taxes (rusûm al-dilâlah) which were due on the first of Rajab (1)310, has paid, until now, from the [above-] mentioned taxes only three hundred and four piasters out of three thousand one hundred and six piasters. Accordingly, it has been decided by the council to bring a lawsuit at the court of first instance against [the above] mentioned [person] with the knowledge of his father the aforementioned ‘Abdul-Qâdir al-Khalîlî, (and) with the authorized representative by the council Georgi Effendi al-Jawhariyyah in order to confiscate the assets of the [above-] mentioned [person]. In order for this arrangement to take effect and to pay all necessary fees from the treasury of the municipal council, this decision was taken on the 14th of Tishrîn Thânî (1)310.
