Since the authorized representative of the council lawsuits, Georgi Effendi Jawhariyyah (who has brought the lawsuit against?) the tax farmer of brokerage taxes for the year (1)310, ‘Abdul-Qâdir al-Khalîlî and his son, asked the council for the guarantee of the treasurer to confiscate the assets of the [above] mentioned tax farmer. Accordingly, it has been decided by the council that the [above-] mentioned treasurer guarantees [Georgi Effendi] should be paid from the treasury in case he was asked to pay. Accordingly, this decision was taken on the 15th of Tishrîn Thânî (1)310.
