In accordance with the order issued by the Ministry of the interior dated on the 2nd of Dhî al-Qi'dah corresponding to the 26th of Mâyis (1)311, to give a license to all interpreters for tourists regardless of their confessions. Accordingly, all interpreters for tourists in Jerusalem have to contact the municipal department to obtain the above-mentioned license within the month of Tammûz ==?? (1)311. [Thus,] if any interpreter for tourists would be found after the assigned period without having our license certified in his hand, he will be prevented from work and fined. In order for this to be known from the part of the municipality council of al-Quds al-Shsharîf, the directions were announced on the 2nd of Tammûz (1)311 (14th of July 1895).
