Observations: While the first reason was recorded as a precaution to be able to prevent the interventions of the head of the guilds of the palanquin artisans, the second reason was written as the tax revenues (aʻşâr u rüsûmât) of the village of the ‘Ayn-ı Kârim. The revenues of the village would be delivered to the poor of the Zawiya al-Magharibah, not to other places.
