This petition has been examined by our council. In the petition presented by the petitioner, a license is requested for constructing a building on a land located in Jerusalem, outside Damascus Gate, and which belongs to himself. The matter has been thereupon relegated to the Office of Main Register of Revenues; in the marginal note given by this office, it is stated that the land on which a building is to be constructed is, in accordance with the counterfoil presented in the sequence number 62 of the perpetual inventory of August 1325 (1909), a real property made up of 11,894 zirâ, and that the relevant records have shown no inconvenience for the construction. As a result of the inspection, it has been understood that a public building, of a measure of 2,000 archine square, will be built on the said land. The necessary building license has thus been given to the petitioner by the municipality and the matter has been found to be all about this. The 28th of Kânûn Thânî (1)325 (10th of February 1910).
