After the end of (1)312, it was necessary to make arrangements for collections from houses, and former contractor, khawâja Ibrâm was found to be suitable for the job, based on his past commitment. A sum of 8000 piasters according to the official currency should be collected during (1)313, on condition that Ibrâm is given 10 percent from the mentioned 8000. If the above mentioned collections increase, he should be given a third. As for fees on shops, they should be collected as before, with the knowledge of one of the inspectors, Ibrâhim Effendi, Yûsuf Effendi al- Barazânî under the supervision of the municipality. They should be given 10 percent from these collections. In order for this to be clarified, this decision was taken on the 3rd of Huzayrân (1)313 (15th of June 1897).
