The council has decided to lease the shop located underneath the old, two-door library, to Ishâq Yehuda Cohen the Ottoman for one year starting from the beginning of Muharam, (1)315, until Thu al-Hijja the same year, for a sum of 14 French Liras. A sum of two liras should be paid in advance, and the rest to be paid on monthly basis, which is one French Lira each month. Therefore, this decision was taken on the 5th of Mâyîs (1)313 (17th of Mayîs 1897).
