Orphans’ Codex drawn up on the orders of his beatutide our Bishop sir Kyrillos, where are registered the pecuniary capitals and immovable property belonging to this day to the orphans appealing to His Beatitude’s mercy, and where can be henceforth registered the additional acquirements from now on, so that they appear clearly to our successors’ knowledge. Therefore, the present codex is ratified with the patriarchal signature in his beatitude the bishop’s journey to Constantinople in the year 1872, July 24. Kyrillos of Jerusalem declares.
