ff. 4-33 Copy from the Russian translation (from Greek) of the note of the Brotherhood of the Holy Sepulchre and Patriarch Gerasimos concerning the construction of a building for Russian pilgrims next to the Abrahamian and Abyssinian monasteries, and called "New Russian House". The Society has made a church of St. Alexander Nevsky in this house, in commemoration of Emperor Alexander III. The construction of this church was done in secret, the Patriarch was not aware of it; this is against the holy canons of the Orthodox church. Protest against the activities of the Palestine Society and the publications of its members.
