This is the marginal note with reference to the letter, dated 21 February 1910 and numbered 50, sent by the Ministry of Commerce and Public Works, regarding tramway and electric lighting
The above-mentioned marginal note by the chamber of commerce has been examined. The municipality’s opinion in this regard has been shown in the attached chart. Even though it has been set forth in the Chamber of Commerce’s opinion that the whole or half of the expenses to be required for the improvement or reconstruction of roads be covered from the municipal fund, it is an absolute necessity for the municipality to propound an opinion for privilege specifications in consideration of location and circumstance before giving the privilege for tramway and electric lighting to a company and the situation being publicised later. Therefore, it has been negotiated and observed by our council that the ultimate form of the tender must be explained in detail. Hence, it is appropriate that, together with this, the said chart and map along with its appendix be sent to the Ministry of Commerce and Public Works. The 6th of Nîsân (1)326 (19th of April 1910).
