Scope and content
ff. 164-167v About the plan to join both Russian missions (in Jerusalem and Constantinople) in one, and appoint Antonin ahead. Ignatiev never wanted Antonin to stay far from Constantinople. The Russian Holy Synod, though is opposing to this plan. Ignatiev shares Antonin's opinion that the members of the Russian mission should serve at the Holy Places not so often, in order to keep calm their rivalries. Includes marginal notes in Russian and red ink.
