As stated in the decree, dated 10 July 1892 and numbered 17, sent from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, it is necessary to warn the people of all villages about potato planting and to send the municipal council members to villages for the purpose of carrying out an inspection. Even though a letter, dated 18 November 1894, was sent from our council to the Sanjak Administrative Council with respect to the fact that the daily allowance to be given to these council members must be covered from the municipal fund, no result has been obtained up to now. Since the agricultural season has come round at last, a belated inspection will not provide any benefit in the future. Thus, it is appropriate to relegate the matter to the Sanjak’s Accounting to take necessary action in respect thereof. The 12th of Nisân (1)311 (24th of April 1895).
