The specified costs of drivers shuttling between Bethlehem and Jerusalem and the post station carriage are appropriate and reasonable. As a result of investigation, it has been understood that it is not possible to make a discount for these costs, that the costs of Hebron drivers are higher than last year stemmed from the rise of carriage prices and the loss of money by the contractor last year, and that there is no one to offer a lesser price. The 7th of Tammûz (1)324 (20th of July 1908).
