Based on the reports presented by the council’s municipal inspectors, three garbage locations were found in city, the city’s people assigned their clearance to a cleaning contractor. According to Article Eight of the contracting conditions, the council decided that the named contractor should be fined three hundred piasters for the three locations. In order to deduct the amount from the contractor’s fee, this decision was issued on the 17th of Tishrîn Thânî (1)314 (29th of November 1898).
