Since the season is starting, and the German Prince and other foreign princes and dignitaries will visit Jerusalem at this time, it has become necessary to sprinkle other roads that were not included in the sprinkling last year. Therefore it is necessary to bring Muhammad Effendi ‘Uwîda, contractor of water sprinkling and discuss the matter with him. He asked for a sum of money to be paid in advance in order to prepare his sprinkling equipment. Upon deliberations it was decided to pay a sum of 3600 piasters according to the official currency, and deduct it gradually from water stipends during the coming months. In order to obtain approval, this decision was taken on the 8th of Mârt (1)326 (21st of March 1910).
