The intestine tax, which pertains to the municipal fund and whose previous cost was 31,100 piasters, has been put on Dutch auction to the account of 1323 (1907-1908) and necessary incentives have been given to those who may show interest. A machine has to be brought for processing the said intestines, so it has been decided that, if this tax were to be given to iltizam to the account of three years, each year’s cost be 25,000 piasters, adding up 75,000 piasters in total; and that, if it were to be given to iltizam for just one year, the cost be 20,000 piasters, all to be undertaken by Abdülmahan Davûdi. No other suitor has come up thus far. There are special sections for drying these intestines; so if they are not given to iltizam, they shall not be administered by the municipality on consignment. It is thus appropriate to relegate the matter to the Sanjak Administrative Council for negotiating and deciding on due action to be taken in respect thereof.
