Upon the petition by the town of Gaza
The provisions of the 3. article of the Municipal Regulation stipulate that slaughterhouses be constructed in proper places and that no livestock be slaughtered within the city. Therefore, in line with the longstanding convention, the rental cost of the slaughter house, constructed in Jerusalem at a distance from the dwellings, is exchanged for the intestines of the slaughtered sheep, taken and sold by the municipality. Although a slaughterhouse has been constructed by the Gaza municipality, it is appropriate to send a decree to the kaymakamlık of the said kaza in order to notify the petitioners that the rental cost must be paid either in cash or by way of giving intestines.
