Report; delivery of bread to Patriarchate from Kerak at Dead sea. According to Russian consul's advice Patriarchate bought 2 steamers, but can't obtain permit of local administration to use it, so long as, according to rumours, somebody in Constantinople wants to found a steamer company on Dead sea and Jordan. Cost of delivery by land and sea. Patriarchate could use it's steamers for delivering of soldiers, officials and merchandises for Porte, advantages for Russian pilgrims, transport; local administration.
